Im folgendenVideo werden die Fahreigenschaften und das Kurvenverhalten des 2014er mit dem 2015er verglichen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyB5SlZyFt0Actor, pilot, and amateur racer, Cristian De La Fuente slid behind the wheel of a 2014 Mustang GT just before tearing around the track in the new 2015 Mustang GT. He paid careful attention to the noticeable differences between the 2014’s solid rear axle and the 2015’s new independent rear suspension.
A new, fully independent rear suspension is a major game changer for the Mustang. Body roll is minimized and road imperfections are isolated to improve the overall driving experience, allowing for more precise handling. The integral link IRS also features Aluminum Alloy rear knuckles and H-arms to help reduce unsprung mass, allowing for twice as much anti-squat and almost 10 times the amount of anti-lift. The result? Better pitch control during hard acceleration and braking – just what you need while carving those corners.
Consider this: the geometry, springs, bushings, dampers, they’ve all been modified and prepared exclusively for intense driving sessions. Of course, you can expect that the front-end performance capabilities will complement those of the rear – it comes complete with MacPherson struts and double-ball-joint spindle with twin lower links and a mild anti-roll bar.
