DETROIT, MI., January 15, 2011 — Torture test engine teardown at 2011 NAIAS — Phil Fabien (left) Ford Motor Co. supervisor of engine testing and Jim Mazuchowski, V6 EcoBoost chief engineer, explain how the new 365 horsepower F-150 EcoBoost engine performed during the most punishing tests Ford has ever performed on a regular production engine. The EcoBoost engine, disassembled in front of a live audience at NAIAS, underwent 10 years’ of use and more than 165,000 miles.
